My Sunshine

Spent most of my time at the hospital today,I'm glad 7th aunt(newly introduced by granny,we've a huge family i was told,my memories are limited as a child) was there to spend time with granny till she dozed off sitting.Granny was fast asleep, but opened her eyes when I'm just about 1 steps away to the bed. Guess I'm always sending out electric signals before i even reached

She had a bad fall, and injured her legs while fracturing her hip bones.i was told that the visit before me looks more like a gang fight(granny's fans) taking place than a visit to somewhere you should be quiet, like a hospital.

She's just one of the many elderly patients with bones weakened by osteoporosis, even by walking, may result in a hip fracture due to the old age about 50 onwards in age let alone 80 plus, in a fall.
she's good, looking great, rosy cheeks and that beautiful smile, generating more energy than I've currently. She's the power plant.

Far energetic than anyone else available in that department including the staffs.

Typical sunflower.More than beautiful, highly knowledgeable as well with the amount of books she reads usually is like me keeping d busy before the prelims.Keeping mind active is that important

After all the conversation, i understand there should be two types of fractures, & these may cause temporary disability, permanent, or even more severe complications, including blood clots, pneumonia, infections, and bleeding.I'm not too sure about the medical terms mentioned but we paid highly not to worry that much, which i shall leave it to the experts, the specialists and time shall flies,

granny will eventually get well after the operation tomorrow noon,

slow but steady.

Love,
grandson

Wallybally's Principle of Life

If,

what happens when the one closest beside turns to vapour

with a bad case of the blues

with one's soul no longer here

with one's termination of life-long contract & move further onwards

where only those who are close, held deeply within

it's the feeling of separation, the state of confusion

where photos with no colors and the smiles no longer there

General impression doesn't seems healthy

and the wounds will always...there

Reality sometimes cuts through our flesh like a knife

slowly, slowly yet deep

there's no preventive measures, it's the reality in life

Let the true friends be with you

and walk the future behind your back,

only time shall heal the wounds

with us

for you.

Yours truly,

Wally

Left home about four on a Saturday morning.Guess most of you fast asleep hugging your colorful pillows,or out partying about to leave for home with that heavy breath of alcohol lingering,i'm out for support. it's all about training for the new blood till Sunday morning and sacrificing self-time for the old. it's all about high-noise and air pollution, large amt of cash pumped in for these kind results, enhancement for good purposes.

Laptop carrier filled with books,2 for the coming test on knowledge.i can't say it's that easy, with more updated information available.this will be a good guide for future references for those on management positions, and for those from the dusty ground. Also finished about 20 pages on psychology articles and 3/4 of Reader's Digest(highly recommended)http://www.readersdigest.com.sg/rd/rdhtml/en/common/home.jsp.

it all ended about 1 in the morning,Sunday. Left for CGH immediately in my filthy uniform.
Went over to visit Alvin's mum at the hospital, and see if there's anything i could assist.
Stay very strong,my friend.
Missed today's training at kallang, don't think i should go when minimum hours of sleep are not met, and having to choose only the boat or the bed.

i chose the 後半の.

Year 2008

Provided by Astrology.com

General
You are feeling very optimistic, enthusiastic and self-confident, which will overflow into all areas of your life this year. You will be doing well with acquiring money to work with new, inventive ideas as well as balancing a lot of new things in your life. You will love the challenge of working with others with different points of view. The great energy you radiate will definitely attract lots of supportive people in your life. You may be called upon you to give more time and energy in a leadership position at work.
As you go through internal personal identity changes this year, you will notice where deep changes in your outlook are possible. You are persuasive and fond of getting your own way, but you are also truly committed to fairness, and will go out of your way to make sure that it is achieved. People appreciate your kind personality and appreciate how you help others. Your friendliness and spontaneity will push you to engage in all kinds of new activities.
By the summer, you will benefit by taking more interest in your sensuous nature and getting more involved in your love for music, painting and poetry. Your deep awareness of keeping track of your health and taking better care of yourself and your own needs will help you harness some of your active energy, possibly participating in physical sports as a good outlet. Taking a vacation and getting rest will do you wonders. You will benefit from some meditation and spiritual recognition of how you relate to the universe. You are likely to formulate some new ideals and viewpoints about your own spirituality.

Career
You will need to focus and analyze new projects that are coming your way, and will need to communicate with others with more authority. You will want to express yourself freely and confidently and to take one thing at a time. New inspiration will be flowing freely and, since you have such a wonderful way of creating new, unique and abundant ideas, this will be a total blessing for you.
You have a keen awareness of analytical communication skills and find a need to change your focus quite a bit. You will allow yourself to have more freedom and flexibility in your commitments to and your expectations of others. You do very well working with others because of your objectivity and fair-mindedness. You proudly take ownership of the philosophy that your cup is half-full, not half-empty. You love the independence you have worked so hard for in your career for, and fortunately have the ability to respond quickly to sudden changes of thoughts about how you do your work.
You have a wonderful desire to explore and enjoy intriguing scientific subjects and many of the ideas you work with are very advanced perceptions. You will achieve more of a focus on education and philosophy and expand your interests into new horizons. Your sense of being organized and methodical is the way you are individually and it will be tested this year. You will learn how to have more faith in the way the universe operates and the concept of perfect order and balance and that the answers to your questions in life lie within you as well. You have a great mind for articulating what you intuitively understand. Teaching as a profession would come naturally to you.

It does says much about how i'm feeling currently.
i gave it a 1/10, the rest...9/10 shall comes from the work year results and how hard i strive. :=)

Aging

George Carlin on age. (Absolutely Brilliant)IF YOU DON'T READ THIS TO THE VERY END, YOU HAVE LOST A DAY IN YOUR LIFE.

George Carlin's Views on Aging

Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so excited about aging that you think in fractions. 'How old are you?' 'I'm four and a half!' You're never thirty-six and a half. You're four and a half, going on five! That's the keyYou get into your teens, now they can't hold you back.
You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead. 'How old are you?' 'I'm gonna be 16!'
You could be 13, but hey, you're gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life . .

You become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony . YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!! But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There's no fun now, you're Just a sour-dumpling. What's wrong? What's changed? You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you're PUSHING 40. Whoa! Put on the brakes, it's all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50 and your dreams are gone.

But wait!!!

You MAKE it to 60. You didn't think you would!
So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSH 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60.You've built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it's a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday! You get into your 80's and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30 ; you REACH bedtime. And it doesn't end there. Into the 90s, you start going backwards; 'I Was JUST 92.' Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. 'I'm 100 and a half!' May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!

HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them.'

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.' And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge .

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

10.Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. =)

Different types of wines

Red - Made from red grape varietals eg. Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Zinfandel. Red wines are usually dry (meaning they have only a tiny amount of residual sugar and are less sweet).

White - Produced with white grapes such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Riesling, Muscat and White Zinfandel. White wines can be very dry to rather sweet. (There are white wines made from red grapes too - see Blush or "Blanc de Noir" wines)

Rose - Produced from red grapes but with minimal skin contact to give it that pink/light red colour.

Blush - Also called 'Blanc de Noir', this is a white wine made from red grapes in which skin contact is avoided.

Dessert - Sweet wines, usually made using white grapes but some red varietals are also used. The grapes are harvested late to allow the grapes' sugar content to increase, or to be infected by the Bortrytis mould to achieve sweetness.
Fortified Wines - Examples are Port wines, Sherry, Madeira, Vermouth and some Muscat varietal wines from France. Alcohol is added to stop the fermentation to produce these wines.

D Day +2 encounters

Second Day of the CNY.Most of the chinese are perhaps celebrating, having gathering with family, relatives or friends.I'm in my usual outfit, most might call it as working.Just that someone just have to take up the role in turns ya. But yeah, was rather enriching i shall say,if i can't have a choice to change the entire situation base on my one man show, then i've to make changes to how i think about the whole plan. Was chatting up with a young lad, who wishes to major in tourism.I believe he will do great after the conversation and a lot more later.Kinda nice to know what one wants in a young age, looking back then...i'm still partying like no tomorrow.

During lunch,a lady in her late 40s in her job coming to 9 years till date, stressed by her workload. Although her task might seems little compared to her co-workers, hers requires dedication and observation to small details.
She told me she can't fall asleep everynight, and wonder if it might be due to her job scope. She need someone to talk to, i guess it's pretty normal for a lady in a still so called conservative environment to even voice out her needs to her friends/family members.

Just hope that after the chat session later, she will feel so much better. It doesn't feel healthy when you're in between festive sessions and you don't feel good. That's a horrible kinda feel, don't u feel??

That's my 15 mins of break.

It's Chinese New Year.

First of all, wishes all a prosperous new year. ;)

On the day of CNY eve,

Went for a grp of 5km cadence run, with the 2 system up in place way before that for music & voices.Trust us,we're that good.lol...We had a great laughter before it even starts, due to an object on the ground. Giggling almost throughout the entire hill trip.

Half way through,

Encountered a man that seems to be in his late 80s running with some form of anger in a shell of a little man small in build, with the tongue dangling out we were told.Obviously for a reason.
He shouted vulgarities at a junior, asking on some enquries during the run.
then again we just thought someone senior should be able to handle and compose himself much better than anyone else. Not for him in particular for this case, poor soul.

Typical Type A personality.small in size blown by shadows.

Well a great day nevertheless,it's 8th now.I got calls for Chijmes and majong session, which i'm not very good at and decided to give it a go,by staying home.

There's some very cool channels going on,one of which is a assembling of 599 with different factories side-by-side for different purposes.ie, leather and care, engine, paint works etc.

It's take a full 2 mths for a complete work,well it says.And a 2 years for the eager awaiting.

200 thousands euro...what was that.Well,simply put.A rich man's hobby.

Time for a farmer like me to continue my little journey for now,i've abt 5 more hours to merge into the green field.Till then.

it's new year eve

Squeeze a little time out for my blog.Nevermind nobody is reading, just feel like typing on the keyboard. It's just so much different from the usual ones in the office. It's the type of information you are pumping out that is to say.

HEctic...
Had my late lunch at 4 in the noon, and my dinner at 11pm earlier on. I should learn how to treat myself better,i guess the interview this afternoon more or less given me some form of relieve.
Was wondering if one month later will do any bad than good.Am assured the location will not do much help, but to fly my kite some where else.

Yawn...where's my pillow

kick butta

It'sa fruitful day,i hope tomorrow will be even better if everything is going according(To cause to conform or agree; bring into harmony.) schedule. Medical benefits are without doubt something that a organisation can bring to the staff for care and concern,at times it might become a loop-hole for those who wish to spend a little more time at home, everything is just way too perfect to plan. Mon to Thurs on leave and Fri on MC. it becomes assumption. it's my kinda conclusion if the whole thing happen over and over again, causing a delay in work process that are given promises and never be done, especially when u're holding a fat pay cheque. We're not giving speech,so things have to be on track. Things can never be done,if the person is giving his plan at the same time jogging on the spot 5 m away from the box he's intending to shift.
Efficiency is fading by time, no wonder...
And this little by little can generate a huge damage to the pockets of the organisation. And that's very bad in the long run, i just hope that the poc will be back on track soon for warming seats. And it's kinda rude not to inform beforehand, than to waste the precious efforts of others for coordinating the meeting.

It's going to delay my appointment at 3 tomorrow, looking at the packed time table with 2 rehearsals in a row,new coord for chinese new year eve celebration, and to visit another site for appointment. Sure, shit rows...that's how we learn to be flexible on the ground.

That's all for now, butt hurts gotta rest

Sunday, February 3, 2008

My butt hurts from today's training,i don't really feel it until my arms doesn't feel the stretch anymore.it shifted it's attention to the back.they call it...PAIN.
i guess its due to all the friction to re-discover my back muscle,so basically i did all i could today by giving my best.a pad should be wonderful.that's the first time on these training session, i was given this little gift.
Coach can't locate me since november,he was saying.guess it's the right time for a new work year.just can't imagine after all the rowing, and 60 plus continous strokes, you have a hard 10 coming up,and it's not only a 10 but plenty of them..
Did dips,push-ups,chin-ups.how many sets are there?Adrian can really pull...felt on the boat of 14 with a single rower on the paddle, and his explantion on chips to rowing, the ratio percentage, way to0 awesome.all these training, and it's kinda fun to be frank,a well deserved lunch at beach rd with a big gang for that same old seats, some shopping through penisular, far east plaza and vivo covered yesterday.almost done. =)

To quote Henry Ford - "Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success."

The technology that cannot give

Went for some late night car wash gathering at b's mscp, not that we can't afford the 6bucks car wash that doesn't really wash your car well at times,to leave traces of scratches one or two on your precious paint work.it's the kind of session where a group of us can finally have some decent conversation together.

Example---well jojo doesn't feel like coming after a recent crash that might cough up approx. 5k i suppose from the repairs.it's awfully bad since it's only about a month old and cny is coming. So with william, brian, ditwo & st rep.
we proceed with out hardcore sweating session where men work, with only william being the only motivated to do it once per year facial treatment for his babe that fetches his babe.

During the conversation, brian mentioned his dad just got diagnosed with cancer, not sure which stages yet, same lump that happens to his mum 2 years plus back.
it's been kinda hard on him recently,as a friend we hope uncle will be back and healthy soon.If there's a Lord,God Bless. It's all the support a friend can give that makes the diff.

everything will be fine.B.

it's the kind of sesson where everyone talks about anything,
and that makes us understand one another, not via msn, facebook, blogging, but
face-to-face communication.
I'm looking forward for some good news on the next round.

Old skool bmx
